On a sunny day the sea looks very calm and beautiful.
People can swim near the beach or sail in small boats.
But sometimes the sea is very dangerous.
Sometimes it is too dangerous for any boat or ship to sail safely.
في يوم مشمس يبدو البحر هادئ وجميل جدا.
الناس يمكن أن يسبحوا قرب الشاطئ أو يبحرون في المراكب الصغيرة.
لكن أحيانا البحر خطر جدا.
أحيانا هو خطر جدا لأيّ مركب أو سفينة للإبحار بسلامة.
1. What can people do in the sea when the weather is good?

The Titanic تايتنك
In 1912, an ocean liner called the Titanic sailed from England.
It was going to New York City.
There were about 2.200 people on board.
The owners said that the Titanic was the fastest strongest and safest ship in the world.
The Titanic will reach New York in thirty days
They said: no ship has ever crossed the Atlantic in a shorter time.
Thirty days that is too fast it is too dangerous
said one newspaper reporter what will happen if the ship hits something?
Will it sink?
The owners laughed nothing can sink the Titanic they said the Titanic is the safest ship in the world.
في 1912، باخرة بالمحيط تدعو تايتانك أبحرت من إنجلترا.
هي كانت ذاهبة إلى مدينة نيويورك.
كان هناك حوالي 2.200 شخص في الداخل.
قال المالكين بأنّ تايتانك كانت السفينة الأقوى والأكثر أمانا والأسرع في العالم.
تايتانك ستصل نيويورك في ثلاثون يوم

The Titanic left England on its first journey.
But it didn't get to New York A week later it hit an enormous iceberg the ship was traveling too fast.
The iceberg made s hole in the ship.
The strongest and safest ship in the world sank in under three hours
Over 1.500 people drowned it was a terrible disaster.
There were not enough lifeboats on the ship.
the owners did not think that the safest ship in the world needed lifeboats!
تركت تايتنك إنجلترا على رحلتها الأولى.
لكنّها لم تصل إلى نيويورك فبعد إسبوع ضربت جبل ثلجي هائل فالسفينة كانت تسافر سريعة جدا.
الجبل الثلجي جعل فتحة في السفينة.
السفينة الأقوى والأكثر أمانا في العالم غرقت تحت في ثلاث ساعات
أكثر من 1.500 شخص أغرقتهم كانت كارثة فظيعة.
لم يكن هناك قوارب نجاة كافية على السفينة،
المالكون لم يفكّروا بأنّ السفينة الأكثر أمانا في العالم ستحتاج قوارب النجاة!
